Age: December CB23
Morph: Black Pewter Fire Clown
Sex: Female
Suitable for: Both beginner and experienced keepers
Handling: Very friendly and relaxed
Size range: as adult 3-5ft dependent on gender
Enclosure recommendations
As she is a baby she will need a small vivarium with thermostatically controlled heating, either overhead or heat mat. Her vivarium size will need to be upgraded as she grows and as an adult a 4ft x 2ft vivarium with overhead heating will be ideal.
This species requires basking temperatures of 32-35 Celsius, with a minimum night time drop to 22 Celsius and ideally thrives in areas of 50-60% humidity. UV lightning is not necessary for this species although studies show they benefit from exposure to UV rays.
This species does not require feeding as often as most other pets. As babies they will typically eat once a week, juvenile to sub adult once a fortnight, then as an adult once a month, depending of food items offered, so very low feeding cost in comparison to other species and perfect for those new to the hobby as maintaining feeding schedule is easier to manage.
