Viper Geckos do well in 2ft long enclosures. They should be provided with thermostatically controlled overhead heating, with basking temperatures reaching 32-35c measured with a digital thermometer or heat gun for accuracy. Low-level shade dweller UV lighting is beneficial.
They have an ambient humidity requirement of 30-50%, which can be achieved with an overall dry habitat with humid microclimates within hides filled with moist sphagnum moss.
