Life Span : Approx 1-2 years
Latin : Phidippus regius
The Regals Jumping Spider is the largest of the eastern North American Jumping Spiders with males typically reaching only 12mm and females not being much larger at 15mm.
This species show clear sexual dimorphism with females presenting a warm orange colouration whereas as males are more commonly black with blue/green pedipalps.
Care is easy for this species wanting temperatures between 21-29*C makes them suitable for most homes without the need of additional heating. They do best with a fluctuation humidity gradient with boosts and drops daily. They do well on a dietary mix of flies and other small insects.
Due to the sensitivity of invertebrates, while we can deliver we recommend collection from our of our shops.
