For sale in our Bracknell reptile shop
Sex: Female
Morph: Normal Het Albino
Age: CB24
Handling: Lovely to handle, but can be wiggly at this age. Will settle down over time with regular handling
Enclosure recommendations
Would currently suit a hatchling set up and will then need upgrading to a 3ft vivarium as an adult. This species needs an arid type setup with a basking spot of 30-32°C.
This species is known as rear-fanged venomous - a scary name for a not so scary adaptation - they use a bacteria in their mouths to improve their hunting odds.
This can act similarly to a bee sting with some people being allergic and more prone to swelling and itching of the bite site. That being said, this species isn’t overly bitey and is more likely to give a warning head butt if provoked.
