Handling: Can be feisty but will calm down when used to a confident handler
Suitability: Some experience recommended
Enclosure recommendations
Adults do well in large enclosures with enough height to allow them to climb as they appreciate being up high, and are an active snake. A vivarium that is 4ft in length and 3ft in height is a good option. Babies and young animals can be housed in smaller versions of this.
They should be provided with guarded and thermostatically controlled overhead heating. UV lighting is beneficial. Temperature and humidity should be measured with a digital thermo-hygrometer for accuracy.
