During the warmer months of the year, Adult Horsfield’s Tortoises can be housed outdoors in predator-proof and escape-proof pens with a secure shelter/house for them to hide and sleep in.
During the winter months, we recommend that they are safely hibernated using the fridge method. Alternatively they can be brought in to 4×2ft indoor housing with heat and UV lighting.
