World’s largest land invert! Getting up to 5ft in length!
They are called Coconut Crabs because they can also crack a coconut with their claws, so use plastic or wooden enclosures rather then glass.

Morph: Normal
Handling: coconut crabs are defensive so we would be careful with handling and only handle if necessary.
Set up: Keep like hermit crabs just on a larger scale. Deep substrate so they can moult (4 parts coir / 1 part sand). Lots of cork bark tubes as they love to climb. Fresh water and salt water (Marine salt) so they can bathe.
Diet: they are scavengers so easy to feed. Currently feeding on Rephasy Crab Diet, Dried Shrimp, Banana.
