Age: Hatched September 2024
Sex: possible Male
Morph: Tangerine Designer Carrot Tail, Giant Line.
Giant Leopard Geckos get longer, heavier and grow faster than average Leopard Geckos
Handling: Babies can be quick, but they will calm down with age and become very friendly once used to their owner
Suitability: Beginner
Average Adult Size: 7 to 11 inches, Giants can get to 12 inches
Average Lifespan: 10 to 15 years
Natural Habitat: Dry grassland of Afghanistan, Pakistan and India
Enclosure recommendations
Adult Leopard Geckos should be housed in a vivarium measuring 3ft long as the minimum size. We recommend that babies are housed in their adult enclosure straight away as they grow very quickly.
Thermostatically controlled overhead heating should be provided, with temps measured using a digital thermometer or heat gun. Low level UV lighting is beneficial.
Leopard Geckos require multiple hides within their enclosure, one of which should be filled with moist sphagnum moss to aid in their shedding cycle. They enjoy a loose soil/sand mix substrate, and a small shallow water dish in the cooler end of their enclosure.
Full Leopard Gecko enclosure kits are available.
