Suitability: Well- researched, confident keepers who are capable of providing a large enclosure
Enclosure recommendations
Adult Common Boas should be housed in very large enclosures, with thermostatically controlled and guarded overhead heating. Juveniles can be housed in a 4×2ft vivarium until this is outgrown.
This species do enjoy climbing whilst young, so will benefit from height within the enclosure.
