Handling: Best kept as a display species and only handled with gloves when necessary due to their sensitive absorbent skin
Suitability: Intermediate/ Well- researched Beginner
Enclosure recommendations
Red-eyed Tree Frogs do best in bioactive, live-planted tall glass terrarium enclosures, with lots of climbing opportunities.
Heating should be thermostatically controlled, and UV lighting is beneficial. A digital thermo-hygrometer should be in place to accurately measure temps and humidity.
