The minimum recommended enclosure size for an adult royal python is a 4ft long vivarium. Younger animals can be housed in smaller enclosures until they are outgrown.
They should be provided with thermostatically controlled and guarded overhead heating. Temperatures and humidity should be measured with a digital thermo-hygrometer.
