Morph: Snow Tessera
Age: Captive Bred 2024
Sex: Male
Handling: Very friendly species, fast as babies but get friendly over time
Size range: as adults 4-5ft, currently 1ft
Housing and habitat: Minimum recommended adult size is a 4x2ft for females and males 4ft, as babies smaller vivarium or rub set ups work well. Arid species, hot spot of 30-32C.
Suitable for: Beginners
Females will be larger than males and can be expected to reach 5 ft in length, requiring an adult tank size approximately 4ft x 2ft, as opposed to males which typically do well in a 4ft.
For adults we would advice thermostatically controlled over head heating set to a 30-32*C basking spot. However, babies tend to do fine on heat mats given their lighter body weights.
