A beautifully camouflaged terrestrial frog species which thrives in bioactive enclosures, wanting to live community with other frogs of the same species.
You will want a well established bioactive enclosure, ideally 45 x 45cm or larger, with UVB lighting. This species requires colder temperatures than other dart frogs, around 21*C, so depending on the room may work well without additional heating.
Despite their name poison dart frogs are only poisonous in the wild due to the food which they eat and our lovely frogs, being born in captivity, are unable to develops their famous poison.
