Diet: Vegetation dusted with the correct vitamin and calcium supplements
Average Adult Size: 7 to 11 inches
Average Lifespan: Up to 75 years
Suitability: Beginners
Enclosure recommendations
Whilst young, Hermann’s Tortoises must be kept in indoor enclosures measuring a minimum of 4×2ft with overhead heating and UV lighting.
When they are old enough, they can then be kept outdoors during the summer months in enclosed outdoor garden spaces, and hibernated during the winter.
